Order area is length times width plus waste.
Pallets are that area divided by the pallet size, rounded up.
Sod order
Square feet = length × width × (1 + waste). Pallets = ceiling of square feet ÷ pallet size.
Example
- Measure the lawn in feet.
- Add about 5% for cuts.
- Replace 450 if the farm sells a different pallet.
